| Aikido of Johnston is an Aikido School committed to the instruction of the modern martial art of Aikido. Upholding the standards of the United States Aikido Federation headed up by Shihan and Chairman Yoshimitsu Yamada, our school is aligned with the techniques and teachings from Hombu Dojo, the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan. Based deep in traditional Japanese Martial Arts, Aikido is a true Budo - way of the warrior, empahsizing blending and harmony to resolve the attack of an aggressor. Aikido of Johnston offers students of Aikido the opportunity to practice and attain their greatest level of proficiency in the principles and techniques of Aikido.
